a Little more about me...
My love of photography took off in a tiny town called Bra, Italy where I spent a year getting a Masters in food culture and communications-and essentially eating my weight in pasta and cheese. As we traveled and studied food traditions around the world, I began documenting all of our adventures on camera; attempting to capture the beautiful complexity of different food cultures and traditions and the people and producers that bring it all to life.
When I returned to the US I continued documenting my food and travel adventures, but as the years went by I noticed my photos shifting from the typical stunning farmer's market finds or local food producer to BABIES! As my sisters and friends started growing their families, I was there to capture it all. And suddenly nothing else felt more meaningful than documenting this magical, messy, fleeting stage from maternity to newborn to childhood and beyond.
In 2020 my husband and I welcomed our son, Hayden, into the world, and I realized how quickly time flies (except when they're not sleeping-that feels like years!) and how important it is to capture those precious early moments before they slip away! Those little newborn toes and dimpled hands. That mischievous toddler smirk. The way they fit perfectly in the nook of your neck. I want to help you capture and hold on to these memories for years to come.
When I'm not photographing adorable families, I spend most of my time chasing around my two wild boys and often taking a million photos of them as well ;). I'd like to think I have mastered the art of toddler wrangling and find the most joy in watching families play together while capturing the natural smiles and silliness that come from those special moments.
