What is the process after I get in touch to schedule a session?
Now the fun begins! Here's how it will go down:
1. We'll pick a date and time, and I'll answer any initial questions you may have.
2. Once we've nailed down the details, I'll send you a questionnaire to get to know you better and a contract to sign and seal the deal.
3. The week of the session we will be in touch to go over style guidance, confirm details, and answer any final questions.
4. We'll have a blast at the photo session! Guaranteed.
5. You'll receive your precious photos within two weeks!

Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Ravenswood, Chicago and will travel anywhere within 20 miles! But please still get in touch if you're outside that radius and we'll see what we can do!
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks. You can download all the photos from the gallery, share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
Depends on which session you choose (choices above!). We will always chat beforehand about your "must have" shots, and then I will choose the best and most significant photos from our time together. I almost always go above the minimum because my clients are just so photogenic!
What if my child has a meltdown?
Been there! Have no fear we will work through it. I do my best to cover any "must have" shots in the beginning of the session so then we can let kids be kids and get those more candid and natural shots (which are often the best!). And there's always time for snack breaks, cry breaks, really any break you might need to take a breath before we get back to it. We'll also talk scheduling beforehand and try to pick a time that doesn't mess with their natural routine too much!
What should I wear?
We'll chat before the session and I'll give plenty of guidance. You can even text me photos from your closet and I'll help you choose!
I'm so awkward in front of the camera, HELP!
Same same. That's why it's my ultimate goal to make the session as easy and comfortable as possible! I'll give subtle guidance on posing, make sure your hands aren't doing weird things, and try my best to make you forget there's a large camera in your face. We'll have fun, and I'll make sure you don't look awkward...pinky promise!
